You will definitely not get bored in El Rio Y Mar. They offer Coron Island Tours, Island Hopping, Island Escapades, Bottom Fishing, Water Sports, Hiking and Snorkelling.

For divers, you can visit a number of sites such as the Ship Wreck “Kyokuzan Maru” which is a Japanese freighter that measures about 152m long and lies almost upright. The main structures remain intact. It carries in one of its holds a car and truck. This wreck provides shelter to batfishes and substrate for the ubiquitous bivalves. Fusiliers, trevallies, barracudas and rays are occasionally seen.

You can also just relax and watch the 20 resident dugongs. For more adventurous types, visit the Apo Reef Natural Park which drops down to about 400m. The steep walls are well covered with corals, sponges, tunicates, nudibranchs and slugs. The coral formation at the plateau is magnificent. Green and hawksbill turtles, and a multitude of fish including damselfish, butterflyfish, batfish, surgeonfish, snappers, fusiliers and trevallies are common.

Another site worth visiting is Tara Island with its 7 new dive sites that are great spots for micro life and soft corals.

Finally, there’s Club Paradise House Reef with a depth of 3-17m. This meandering reef features different species of tunicates, sponges, sea stars and sea cucumbers. An aggregation of giant clams (Tridacna spp., mostly endangered) is located at 12 m.
